Melisa 's career started 22 years ago in some of the top Salons in Florida, She has worked with an extensive team of hairdressers in Freelancing, such as Commercials, Photoshoots, and Runways.
She is currently a certified educator for Paul Brown Hawaii, and a platform artist. Her love for the craft has landed her various opportunities to work with the top names in the industries of fashion ,television ,music,and radio personalities. Her love for the art extended to the love for women and there self worth, in that she was inspired by Alicia keys , "SUPERWOMAN", the song that would ultimately change the course of her life, realizing that as strong as she was she still needed to believe that she had more power than she can ever imagine by putting an "S" on her chest, and she has now set another path to help other women realize the power within them , to Inspire and empower to a "full-fledged movement of inspiration". I am a graduate from Paul Mitchell the School in Orlando. I began working as an apprentice to a salon owner while continuing to expand my education in any way possible before joining the amazing talent at Expressions at Winter Park Salon. I specialize in color and cuts as well as keratins and ethnic hair. I am very passionate about people and my work because it is a reflection of myself. participated in this wonderful event, her team working on hair and makeup, along side her mother Betsy Ross ,her stylist Jasmine Santiago,Fiance Dave Medina and Lashante Walker. This year Expressions was also given an opportunity to showcase her boutique on the runway and was a great success.
